Prompt #3: Descriptive Scene (fiction)
Make up a fictional scene between two characters but write the scene in third person. Really concentrate on using descriptive details to show where the characters are located (setting). The setting should be almost like another character in your scene, so think about where you want your scene to take place. It could be a house, office building or the post office. It could also be jungle, a glacier or Mars. The nice thing about fiction is you can do whatever you want, so do it. Your scene should be a minimum of 1 page, typed, titled and double spaced.
TIP: Setting is often ignored when people start sketching out first drafts, so really think about the physical space that your characters are inhabiting. What can it tell your audience about your story?
